Did you miss last night's informational Bond Meeting?
Are you like me, and need to know all the information? Great! Below are the slides that were presented last night highlighting some the projects this bond will fund. The last slide shows the financial impact to the taxpayers if the bonds do pass. Need more? Additional information can be found in the Board Packet from the August 5th Meeting.
Prefer a quick highlight instead? Ok, fine.
The Bond election is split into 2 bonds because although we are one big happy district, in the eyes of the state we are separate High School and Elementary Districts. So we need 2 yes votes to fund all the projects.
Items on the bonds include::
-Restroom Renovation at the High School
-New Sports Complex (Football Field, Track, Stands, Concessions, Storage, Restrooms, Ref locker rooms)
-Electrical component replacement at the High School & PBES
-Drainage repair and playground overhaul at PBES
-Cafeteria & Intercom improvements at PBES
-Parking/Parent & Bus Drop Off safety upgrades at PBES
-CHS Auditorium seating, flooring, curtain replacement
Cost to the taxpayers?
$200,000 property value = $66.22 / year ($5.52/month)
$300,000 property value = $99.33/year ($8.28/month)
