The PONY Award celebrates students who consistently demonstrate positivity, effort, kindness, and excellence in and out of the classroom. Teachers may submit nominations to highlight students who stand out as true Pine Butte Ponies! Winners will be selected by the committee on a weekly schedule and recognized by the Board. The winners will also receive a bumper sticker and a sticker for the student.
This weeks PONY Award is: Raejon Parker!
Ms. K says: Raejon is all around a joy and a pleasure to have in our school. He is an excellent role model at recess for all the students because he will always say yes if someone asks him to play, genuinely cares for students who have gotten hurt, and every single day he gathers balls without being asked, even if they aren't third grade's. In the classroom, he gives 100% all of the time. He never distracts his peers. He is kind and willing to help others anytime someone asks for help. He takes his work seriously and wants to do well in school. He is a great friend to every single person in my room and considerate of others.
