PBES kicked off Native American Heritage Month with lots of great Native American activities all week. We started off the week with the flag song and teepee raising with Jermey Hiwalker and his Crew! Thank you Jermey and Crew for coming to PBES!

The entire school got to participate in several great learning experiences. We studied Larissa Fasthorse, a Native Dancer who followed her dreams to dance professionally. To follow up PBES participated in a great dance presentation from our local dance expert Kelsey Small. PBES also researched Running Eagle, a famous Blackfoot warrior, and showcased our learning with writing that is posted around the school. Check it out when you come for Parent Teacher Conferences next week!
