The PONY Award celebrates students who consistently demonstrate positivity, effort, kindness, and excellence in and out of the classroom. Teachers may submit nominations to highlight students who stand out as true Pine Butte Ponies! Winners will be selected by the committee on a weekly schedule and recognized by the Board. The winners will also receive a bumper sticker and a sticker for the student.

Mrs. Crook says: Tristen is quick to help any students who may need it. He's a good friend to those around him! Tristen is always willing to lend a hand to kids and adults alike. Everyone around him feels important because he makes people feel special by saying encouraging words and inviting others to join an activity. He demonstrates perseverance on academic tasks and has a strong willingness to learn.Tristen's infectious joy can change the atmophere of the classroom.
