The PONY Award celebrates students who consistently demonstrate positivity, effort, kindness, and excellence in and out of the classroom. Teachers may submit nominations to highlight students who stand out as true Pine Butte Ponies! Winners will be selected by the committee on a weekly schedule and recognized by the Board. The winners will also receive a bumper sticker and a sticker for the student.

Mrs. Krieger says: Alia is an outstanding student and classmate and is a positive presence in our school. She possesses many wonderful qualities like empathy, hard work, kindness, and a great sense of humor. She is exceptional in her academic work and always strives to do her very best. Alia is the first to offer assistance to anyone in need and is always reliable and trustworthy. She has served as a student council representative and also as a Mini Bank director. She is an all-around great kid and truly embodies someone who is a positive, outstanding, notable youth!
