The PONY Award celebrates students who consistently demonstrate positivity, effort, kindness, and excellence in and out of the classroom. Teachers may submit nominations to highlight students who stand out as true Pine Butte Ponies! Winners will be selected by the committee on a weekly schedule and recognized by the Board. The winners will also receive a bumper sticker and a sticker for the student.

Amaya is a kind student that keeps a positive attitude throughout all areas in school. Amaya has grown so much the last two school years in confidence and creativity. Amaya began as a timid writer and reader. She now can create complex sentences and shares her thoughts with her class confidently. Amaya loves to share her stories and encourages her classmates to do their best as well. Amaya does a wonderful job at trying to focus on herself and improving her own skills. She is a wonderful friend to others and is the best role model for her peers.
