Great things are happening at PBES.   In Mrs. Dahle’s music class, the 4th and 5th graders have been working on bucket drumming.  They are working on keeping beat, sticking, and making music! The kids are enjoying this unit a lot! a
Mrs. Asbury’s kindergarten students are working on a science unit about force and motion.   They got to experience how a crane and wrecking ball would work in a city where buildings are closer together and how the force used can change how much damage may occur in a demolition.  b
Mrs. Charette and Mrs. Nikki’s class are participating in a  project that was started through the Lodge Approach conference this last summer. They began learning about plants and more specifically Native Plants that grow in our area. They learned about which ones are edible and what was used as medicine and what to stay away from. They are learning right along side an elementary schools in Cooke City and one in Akron Ohio.

All participants received small grow stations. Mrs. Charette and Mrs. Nikki have taken it a step further to help every student try to sprout a plant from seed that could be eaten when it grows.
