The PONY Award celebrates students who consistently demonstrate positivity, effort, kindness, and excellence in and out of the classroom. Teachers may submit nominations to highlight students who stand out as true Pine Butte Ponies! Winners will be selected by the committee on a weekly schedule and recognized by the Board. The winners will also receive a bumper sticker and a sticker for the student.
This weeks winner is: Rocket Sees The Ground
Mrs. Baer says: Rocket is an all around great kid! He is respectful to adults and kind to students of all ages. Everyone Rocket communicates with feels listened to and validated. He is attentive during instruction and includes everyone in his group even when it's a competition. He loves to win but not at the cost of others not being included. He tries hard to learn new skills and wants to improve his abilities. Rocket is an exemplary PONY.
