Wow! We are at our midway point of swimming lessons. Half of our population has already had the opportunity to be given high‑quality instruction for five straight days. Swim lessons have been a huge undertaking, and I could not be happier with the results I have been seeing over the last six years. Our students are learning safety in and around water, building confidence in the water, and refining their swim strokes as they progress through the American Red Cross program. A huge thanks to the lifeguards and pool supervisor for working with me in and out of the water. We are able to deliver small‑group instruction to all our little swimmers because of their willingness to support our school and students. If you see Crystal Jare, Ann Hills, Monte Bilbro, Erica Drake, or Ava Stenulson, please thank them for their willingness to spend time teaching swim lessons to our PBES students.

Students also had some indoor recess this week due to cold weather. Tyree spent his recess flexing his engineering muscles and building a great structure!
