The PONY Award celebrates students who consistently demonstrate positivity, effort, kindness, and excellence in and out of the classroom. Teachers may submit nominations to highlight students who stand out as true Pine Butte Ponies! Winners will be selected by the committee on a weekly schedule and recognized by the Board. The winners will also receive a bumper sticker and a sticker for the student.
This weeks winner is: Brynley Krieger!
Mrs. Baer says:
Brynley is an all around great kid. She is eager to learn, respectful, kind to herself and to others while greeting everyone with a beautiful smile. Brynley has been involved in the Student Council for the past few years and has also taken on the job of morning announcements this year. She is very dedicated to her job and even fills in when others are gone and unable to do the job. In the past, she has also let a staff member know if she will be absent so a replacement can be found. This is the maturity we want our students to strive for while in elementary school before going on to middle school. If someone needs help, she's your gal. She will volunteer to help support other students and staff members. In her learning, she is highly motivated to improve and accepts help and support when needed. She is proud of her successes but does not boast and will go out of her way to help others who may be struggling. What a P.O.N.Y indeed!
