The PONY Award celebrates students who consistently demonstrate positivity, effort, kindness, and excellence in and out of the classroom. Teachers may submit nominations to highlight students who stand out as true Pine Butte Ponies! Winners will be selected by the committee on a weekly schedule and recognized by the Board. Winners will have their picture posted on the school website, facebook and get a poster put in the hall. The winners will also receive a bumper sticker and a sticker for the student.

Emmitt is a wonderful example of a hard-working student! He has self-motivation and the determination to continue working even when things are tough. He is kind-hearted and helpful with his classmates. He offers to help others know what to do if they have been out of the room for any reason. Emmitt is most definitely deserving of the PONY Award! He shows daily what a successful Pine Butte student looks like and can be!
