Curriculum Director Notes: Sept. 27-Oct. 1 is Native American Week. We will be doing activities in the classrooms in the indivicual buildings and we will be putting up the teepees in front of each building and singing the Flag song. We will not be having an exhibition Pow Wow at this time due to the increasing Covid numbers and the number of people unable to participate. We do hope to host it at a later time this spring if we are able to. Indian Education for All takes place throughout the school year in each building not just this week. We encourage participants in classes when possible.

SUPERINTENDENT TRANSPORTATION ALERT: Due to a bus driver shortage, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of September 20, 21 and 22, 2021 Colstrip Schools will only run 2 yellow bus routes: Taz and Garfield. Students on the Speedy route will be picked up accordingly: Taz will pick up the Muddy Cluster stop. Garfield will pick up the rest of the Speedy stops. School suburbans will pick up the overflow. CPRD will pick up the CPRD Kids after school. Buses may run up to 15 minutes late at some stops. Middle School Football will travel to Baker on Monday and will be taking the two 14 passenger activity buses (Casper and Snoopy). Thank you for everyone’s cooperation and understanding as the District continues to struggle with having enough bus drivers for routes and activities.
