**Public Survey - How are we Doing?**
The School Board wants to know what you think about the Colstrip Public School District annual goals. How well did the District meet your expectations in achieving the annual goals?
The Board created a brief survey (using Google Forms**) to help you share your opinion with the Board. Click this link to open the survey: https://forms.gle/gCUkXtSqy41dyPeLA
As a member of the community, whether you're a student, parent, staff, or citizen of Colstrip or Rosebud County, your opinion matters. A public school is successful because the public community works together to make it happen.
We'd so appreciate it if you take a few minutes to complete this brief survey. Follow this link to submit the survey: https://forms.gle/gCUkXtSqy41dyPeLA.
The survey will be open March 12 until April 1.
**The form does not require you to sign into Google to complete it. You can complete this anonymously. However, if you are already signed into Google when you open the form, you will see your email address on the top of the form, but the survey will not collect your email address in the final form submission.

***Transportation Weather Notice***
We are monitoring the road situation closely. At this time, Colstrip Schools will operate on a normal transportation schedule tomorrow, 2/27.
Should conditions in your immediate area be unsafe, take precautions as you see necessary.

**Update on Phone Issues*** Some may have experienced errors or inconveniences when calling the main school line (748-4699). Today and many days last week, the phone system has experienced intermittent problems causing the auto-attendant and voicemail to fail. When you call the school, you should expect an auto-answer system to instruct how to dial extensions or how to connect to a certain building. When you call someone's extension, you should expect it to go to voicemail if they don't answer. The feature has failed many times in the past week. When the auto-answer service fails, all calls will route to the Central Office. We apologize for the inconveniences this has caused. Our Tech department is working to fix the problem.

***Bus Safety Reminder***
Please remind your students that behavior on the bus is a safety matter, and what might be acceptable other places is not ok there.
In particular, please remind them that remaining seated and reasonably quiet is important because it allows the bus driver to focus on the road and keeps the bus monitor from having to move around while the bus is in motion.
Please remind students to remain seated upright in their bus seats with their feet on the floor. This is important because if the bus were to have to suddenly stop or were in an accident, that is the safest position for the riders and the way safety measures on board the bus are designed to protect them. It also allows other passengers(students or monitors) to move in the aisle to get on or off the bus or move to assist another student without tripping over feet.
Thank you for reminding your students about the importance of safety on the bus and helping us make sure your kids arrive at school and back home safe and sound.
