March 3 Friday: TODAY .....Due to an emergency that is beyond our control Colstrip Public Schools will be dismissing all students for the rest of the day as the City of Colstrip had to turn off the water for CHS and PBES. Students will be dismissed at the Early Early Release times that will be posted to the website. Pine Butte Students can be picked up at Pine Butte at 12:10 PM, High School at 12:20 PM, and FBMS at 12:30 PM. Thank you for your patience. PBES NOTICE: Due to extenuating circumstances, the City of Colstrip is shutting of the main water line, Pine Butte Elementary students will be transported to CHS, so they will have a temporary change of placement for a few hours today. The PBES student will be transferred back to PBES to be dismissed at their regular times. Thank you for your cooperation.

ROAD CLOSURE: Per City of Colstrip is as follows: Due to a water line break Pine Butte Drive will be closed by FM Creations. The repair will start tomorrow morning ( Thursday, March 3rd at 8 am until fixed. Residents and businesses in the immediate area will be without water during the repair. The city hopes the repair will be made in one day. The closure is by Pine Butte/ Vista Drive and Pine Butte / Zane Grey Drive, near the intersection of Wagoneer Drive. THE ROAD is closed at this time, please use an alternative route.

SCIENCE FAIR 2022 MARCH MADNESS-Join Our Team Science fair will be March 22. Set up after school on 3-21-22. Viewing will be on Wednesday 8:30-noon Registration forms must be picked up at the office. When a student turns their form in they will receive a booklet from the office. This booklet must be completed. If you have any questions please let me know or ask Tami. Please dojo your parents and let them know about science fair. Registration deadline is March 4. You can also do a class project. Science fair boards are going to cost $5 this year. If the project is completed the money will be refunded. Tami has the boards at the office. Boards are free for class projects. Thanks, Wendy and Kristy

TRANSPORTATION: Colstrip Public Schools will be running a 2 route system for bussing tomorrow Wednesday, March 2nd and Thursday, March 3rd for AFTERNOON routes ONLY. Activity Bus-- There will be no activity bus for tomorrow Wednesday 3/2.

8th grade promotion parent meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 6:30 PM in the FBMS Library. We will discuss the details of the promotion at that time. Hope to see you all there! 8th grade promotion will be on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 2:00PM.

Colts Basketball— Colts punch their ticket to the divisional tournament with a 59 - 45 win over Baker. Nice work Colts!

3B District Basketball info-- Game Times on Saturday are updated: Boys 3rd&4th: 12:00 PM Girls 3rd&4th: 2:30 PM Boys Championship: 5:00 PM Girls Championship: 7:30 PM Gym and Facilities will be cleared out after each game and fans much re-enter facility to watch each game. Ticket sales will be as normal as the rest of the tournament. All session will be accepted and General admission for the day will be sold at the door. Good luck to all Teams!!

There will be an Impact Aid/Title VI parent meeting in the FBMS library on March 7th at 5:30 pm. This is an informational meeting and should not last long. All info was mailed to parents this week and if there are questions/suggestions in regards to that mailing, we will be there to address those. You may also fill out the space at the bottom of the backside of page 1 and send it back to us. Do not forget, your presence is always welcome at the board meetings!

FBMS Boys Basketball-- Game in Forsyth Tuesday 2/15. There will only be one game now in Forsyth at 4:30 PM. Most of the younger athletes will be playing in this game. The game will be held at Forsyth Middle school. Only the "C" Team and "B" team 6th graders will be playing in this game. All athletes are going to support their boys basketball team but only "C" team and "B" team 6th graders will be playing. Sorry for the late notice. If you have questions please give me a call.
