TEACHER SEARCH: As of July 1, Colstrip Public Schools have several certified openings and may not be able to fill them with "licensed" instructors; therefore, Colstrip Public Schools are reaching out to individuals that can be hired through emergency authorization process outlined in the Administrative Rules of Montana: ARM 10.57.107 for the 2022-2023 School Year.

CHS Divisional Track and Field--
Fillies took 2nd place as a team overall. Advancers to state are:
Malea Egan in Long Jump 3rd place, 200 7th place
Canzas Hisbadhorse in High Jump 2nd place
Talen Rogers in Shot Put 2nd place
Jamie Whitedirt in Shot put 1st place, Discus 1st place
Gracie Bradley in 400 1st place, 100 3rd place, 100 Hurdles 1st place, and prequalified in Long jump and 300 Hurdles
Weston Means in Long jump 4th place, High Jump 2nd place
State is in Great Falls at Memorial Stadium Friday May 27th and Saturday May 28th.

It is snowing really good in Laurel. Meet managers have push back the start time of the track meet back 1hr.

Abby Baer is in 5th place over all and Macy Burns is in 19th heading into day two of the State Class B tournament.

ELECTION NOTICE: The annual school election is Tuesday, May 3, 2022. The polling site is the Colstrip High School activities mezzanine. Please use the CHS Activities entrance (Door 10) in the upper parking lot when coming to vote. Polls will be open from Noon until 8:00 p.m.
Absentee ballots can be dropped off at CHS Door 24 in the lower parking lot until 8:00 p.m. on the 3rd. Please remember to sign your affidavit envelope!
If you are not registered to vote, you can register up to and including election day, May 3rd. You must register at the Rosebud County Clerk & Recorder's office in the Rosebud County Courthouse in Forsyth. You must return to Colstrip with your certificate in time to vote prior to the close of polls at 8:00 p.m.
