Notice is hereby given to the governing Board and general public that a regular meeting of the Governing Board for the Colstrip School District #19 will be held Monday January 27, 2024, beginning at 6:00 PM. The meeting can be attended at Colstrip High School in the Lower Level Commons. Entry through Door 24 from the Lower Parking Lot. ***TRANSPORTATION ALERT*** Due to driver shortage, Colstrip Schools will be utilizing a 1 Route System for Friday, 1/24/25. Please see the attached route for stops and times. No students will be picked up at the Jimtown turnaround. This is the first safe spot for the bus to turn back to town. Families south of the Egan stop are responsible for their students' transportation on Friday. We apologize for this inconvenience.

***FBMS ATHLETICS NOTICE*** FBMS Mustang Boys' Basketball will play the Lame Deer Junior High Morning Stars today beginning at 4:30 PM. There will be 3 games, C, B , and A squad games with the C squad boys' tip-off at 4:30. The games will also be available on NFHS Network beginning at 4:30 PM. GO MUSTANGS!!!!

****Transportation Notice**** The Garfield bus will not stop south of the Boys' and Girls' Club bus stop tomorrow, 1/23/25. Students who are usually picked up south of the Lame Deer Boys' and Girl's Club stop on Highway 4 will be picked up at the Boys' and Girls' Club at 6:50 AM. Pick up times at stops after the Boys' and Girl's Club will be as follows: 6:55 AM Central Stop 6:59 AM BIA 7:03 AM Small/Scalpcane 7:06 AM Egan 7:12 AM Old Poacher 7:15 AM Cook 7:18 AM Neiman 7:30 AM FBMS 7:40 AM CHS 7:45 AM PBES The Garfield bus will also not drop off south of Boys' and Girls' Club in the afternoon, 1/23/25.   All students who normally are dropped off south of Lame Deer on HWY 4 will be dropped off at the Boys' and Girls' Club at 4:33 PM.  This  change includes the following stops: Little Coyote Drive Harris Lane A Harris Lane B Powwow Grounds All other students will be picked up and dropped off as usual. Muddy Cluster students will arrive approximately 10 minutes earlier than usual. (4:50 instead of 5:00 PM) Please make sure your students are dressed warmly and appropriately for the weather conditions. As always, please use good judgement and do what is safest for you and your family in your situation.

All students who normally are dropped off south of Lame Deer on HWY 4 will be dropped off at the Boys' and Girls' Club. Drop off time will be 4:33 This includes the following stops: Little Coyote Drive Harris Lane A Harris Lane B Powwow Grounds All other students will be dropped off as usual. Muddy Cluster students will arrive approximately 17 minutes earlier than usual. (4:43 instead of 5:00 PM)

***CHS Athletics Notice*** CHS Boys' Basketball Practice for today, 1/22/25, is cancelled. CHS Girls' Basketball will practice from 4-6 at the CHS Gym.

***FBMS ATHLETICS NOTICE*** The FBMS Boys' Basketball game in Lodge Grass has been postponed due to hazardous road conditions. We will reschedule the game for a later date. FBMS Boys' Basketball will practice today from 4PM-6PM. The Activity Bus will run as normally scheduled this evening. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in our efforts to keep your students safe. GO MUSTANGS!!!

***TRANSPORTATION ALERT*** The Garfield bus is back on the road and will be picking up students at the remaining stops. Everyone is safe and sound. Thank you to all who responded quickly to getting the bus out and keeping our students safe.

***TRANSPORTATION ALERT*** The Garfield bus is currently stuck in the snow at the Powwow Grounds. All students and school personnel are safe, and help is on the way to get the bus back on the road. All stops after the Powwow Grounds will be delayed until the bus is safely on the road again. If your student is usually picked up by Garfield, please be aware of the delay. We will let you know when the bus is on the road again.

***FBMS ATHLETICS NOTICE*** FBMS Boys' Basketball practice is cancelled this afternoon. Departure time for tomorrow's game vs Lodge Grass is 2 PM, games will tip-off in Lodge Grass at 4:30 and all 3 teams will be playing. Please remind your student athletes to wear nice jeans and a button-up collared shirt per Coach Neiss's request. Thank you and GO MUSTANGS!!!

Transportation Notice- Please make sure that your students are dressed appropriately and have warm winter gear available when riding the bus.

FBMS ATHLETIC NOTICE - FBMS Boys Basketball Games tomorrow vs St. Labre Schools will NOT play tomorrow Monday Jan. 20th. FBMS Boys WILL have practice from 4 pm - 6 pm instead. The Activity Bus will run tomorrow after practice. Reminder NO GAMES tomorrow however there will be practice from 4-6 pm. Thank you for your understanding!

Please note that on Fridays, all stops will occur one hour earlier. The Activity Bus will continue to run Mon-Thurs. I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

FBMS Athletic Notice- Due to hazardous road conditions to the west of Colstrip, the decision has been made to cancel the FBMS Boys' Basketball game at Shepherd for Saturday, January 18th.

***ATHLETICS NOTICE!!!*** Due to hazardous weather and travel conditions on 212 and the interstate, Lodge Grass has requested that we play only the Varsity games today. There will be no C or JV games today. Varsity girls will play at CHS at 2:00 PM, followed by the boys at 3:30. Varsity games only. This will allow the Lodge Grass teams time to get here safely and to travel home safely. Conditions on the roads and high winds south of Billings and west of Lame Deer are a high concern, we want everyone to get here and make it home. Thank you for your understanding and Go Colts!
